Merry Christmas

I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.  I hope the new year brings you and those close to you many blessings.  As I look at my family and our home tonight I am reminded of how blessed we are.  We each have each other, a home, our jobs, and good food.  There is truly nothing missing from our lives that is necessary for life.  While we have our wants I know there are those out there that still have needs.  This year we want to encourage each other and each of you to find a way to appreciate and preserve the things that matter most, and if you realize you too have all that is really necessary please give to those who do not.

Pretty Princess Party

It has been a very busy weekend making pretty stuff!  The results were worth it though.  Graphics are copyrighted and courtesy of Karen Precel Events in NYC.  Patterned paper is from the Sweet Afternoon collection by Teresa Collins.  I spoke of a giveaway in my last post so here is your chance.  Please leave a comment and one winner will be chosen to receive a sample pack from the Sweet Afternoon collection.

Cinderella Party

I will be spending the weekend creating beautiful Cinderella inspired party decor and favors.  My little one just turned five and can't wait for her party.  Stay tuned this weekend for pictures of all the fun. Oh, and did I mention there just might be a give away...we are using some papers from Theresa Collins Sweet Afternoon collection to create beautiful slippers.  Watch for your chance to win a pack of coordinating papers and embellishments from the collection.

Photography Practice - Stonehenge II

This layout was created from a group of photos taken during a practice session with a new camera a few years back.  My friend and I took a day trip to Stonehenge II in Hunt, Texas.  The stones turned out to be a wonderful teaching tool.  Their shape and shadows constantly changing throughout the day.  The layout itself is entirely digital and was created using Adobe Photoshop Elements and artwork from Stampin' Up!.  Texture was created using effects and brushes standard to Adobe's software. If you could pick a location to photograph where would it be and with whom?
